Our Verdict
Meet Alfred is a good LinkedIn automation tool for professionals looking to quickly start automating lead generation. While it supports multi-channel campaigns, the simplicity of the tool sacrifices the depth of many other features.

The main goal of Meet Alfred is to save time for us professionals by handling repetitive networking tasks. Having the ability to handle these tasks across various channels is a great value, which helps accelerate the lead gen process.

Meet Alfred Review: Main Features
As we continue with our Meet Alfred review, let’s look into how to use this tool to streamline your LinkedIn prospecting process!
Campaigns
Campaigns is most likely the tab that you will spend the most time in – as here you can create the automated lead generation sequences.
Some other campaigns that you can do that weren’t mentioned are:
- Via InMail
- Via LinkedIn Groups
- Via LinkedIn Events
- Via LinkedIn Posts
Creating a campaign is divided into three steps:
- Adding leads
- Setting a sequence
- Preview and publish
Adding Leads
There are various means of adding LinkedIn leads to Meet Alfred, such as:
- Integrated search feature
- LinkedIn Search URL
- CSV file
- Sales Navigator searches
- Your connections
- 3rd party integrations
Most of them have the same process, so we will use the first option, just to showcase how the process looks like.
The search works the same as a Boolean search on LinkedIn. There are also additional filters you can add to refine the search.
Then you can select the maximum amount of leads to save in the CRM and additional flags for profile selection.
We like the amount of filters here which allows for flexible lead selection.
Setting a sequence
We were surprised at the simplicity of sequence creation. The number of actions is quite limited:
- Engage with profile
- Send connection request
- Send LinkedIn message
As compared to other similar tools, Meet Alfred lags behind when it comes to the possibilities and the number of actions. Perhaps that makes it more friendly to absolute beginners who don’t have too much time to spare for a steep learning curve.
You will need to craft messages yourself, as there are no pre-built templates and no AI functionality to create them. At least there are some pre-built personalization fields to use, like:
- First name
- Last name
- Company
- Position
- Industry
You can create your Campaign and Message templates if you plan to reuse them or just tweak them a bit faster.
For additional steps, you can when you want to trigger it after the previous step. Engagement actions are quite limited:
- View profile
- Follow
- Endorse skill
- Like post
While the campaign creator might appeal to beginner users, it would be great if there were:
- A higher number of actions (like commenting or sharing posts)
- AI functionality (which could help craft messages to combat creative block)
- Pre-built templates (for different scenarios)
Multi-channel campaigns work similarly, just that you can combine steps from different platforms. In this case, we combine LinkedIn and email.
This is a great feature to have, and if there were more robust action options and generative AI inside the mix, Meet Alfred would beat its competitors easily.
Preview and publish
As you finish setting up the campaign, the final screen:
- Asks you for the campaign name
- Showcases how the sequence looks like
- Outlines the campaign type
- Details the attributes of the campaign
It is essentially a high-level overview of all the important attributes of your campaign.
Once you create the campaign, you can see it on the Campaigns screen. Here, you can also see some important metrics at a glance. You can also toggle the campaigns on/off at all times.
Once you click on a specific campaign, you will get to the overview panel, which showcases some important statistics. The thing we like about Meet Alfred here is that it allows you to edit the campaigns. Some similar tools require users to create a new campaign, which can be a hassle.
Then, you can check which leads have been generated with the campaign, with these fields available:
- Lead
- Position
- Company
- Location
There are also filtering functions, but these kinda feel obsolete as you need to manually type everything – there is no autocomplete functionality or something similar.
Each lead will have an associated Steps field to help you check how the campaign is progressing for each lead.
Greetings
This is a cool Meet Alfred function we wanted to mention because it helps automate lead nurturing. As you can see on the screenshot, it is pretty simple and allows you to:
- Congratulate on their job anniversary
- Thank them for the endorsement
- Wish them a happy birthday
- Congratulate them on a new role
CRM
The CRM functionality Meet Alfred uses can be summarized in one word – simplicity. It has several views:
In the Connections view, you can see all the connections that were imported when you connected your LinkedIn account with Meet Alfred. You can also message your connections from this panel and find their emails.
Keep in mind that email finder and messaging from the CRM are not possible inside the free trial, only with the paid plan.
There are various filters here to help you refine your connections further. You can use the toggle to exclude certain leads which is useful when a certain lead is already warm.
As we said before, it would be cool if the filters had an autocomplete feature to make it more straightforward. Additionally, you cannot check the individual details of a certain lead, only a holistic view is available.
The Leads view is essentially the same as the previous one, with the difference being that only the leads from your campaigns are stored here. You can see which Campaign they belong to, and what was the last action with a specific lead.
The Invitations screen showcases the leads you invited on LinkedIn, and it also allows you to withdraw them. A cool thing to have things organized and check if the invites have been sent to the proper leads.
Tag Manager is pretty useful to manage a large number of leads – so it is great to have that feature available.
All in all, the CRM from Meet Alfred is simple and effective for beginners but may leave some things to be desired for power users.
Conversations
Now this is a feature that we like how Meet Alfred has implemented it. Conversations is essentially an inbox feature.
First up is the Replies panel, where you can:
- Export replies
- Directly reply to leads
- Return the leads to the campaign
- View LinkedIn conversations
The organization is key here, as you cannot group leads based on campaigns on LinkedIn, so bonus points here to Meet Alfred.
The Inbox panel lets you check the conversations from your LinkedIn, InMail, or Sales Navigator. You can also filter conversations by tags, which adds an additional layer of organization to the conversations.
Meet Alfred lets you schedule posts, which is a cool feature, as this is impossible to do on LinkedIn. This function is pretty basic, and it doesn’t need any additional bloat honestly.
The only thing that would make this a killer feature would be generative AI. We are not jumping on the bandwagon here, although some LinkedIn tools do this exceptionally well – such as Taplio.
There is also a simple dashboard that lets you see how your posts perform and their status.
Meet Alfred also lets you check trending topics for a certain keyword, which can help with content creation.
Based on this output, it could do better at finding more valuable posts. Perhaps adding a filter for the follower count could help?
Overall, the Conversations feature is useful for tracking conversations with leads. The content creation and ideation tools are good to have but could use some refinement to keep up with the competition.
Analytics
The Analytics feature offers a holistic overview of how your campaigns are performing in a certain period. Of course, it is possible to dive deeper into each of the available sections for more robust data. The Dashboard is pretty simplistic, although that makes it intuitive.
Other features
Let’s dive into some other Meet Alfred features worth mentioning:
Team
You can add seats to your team, but keep in mind that for each team member, the subscription increases.
For example, if you have 3 seats with the Business plan, the monthly cost would be $297/month.
Limits
Meet Alfred sets the daily limits automatically, based on the best practices to avoid getting banned on LinkedIn or other platforms for automation. You can adjust them on your own accord, but that is not recommended if you are not aware of the LinkedIn daily limits – as that can result in automation warnings and even account restrictions.
Working hours
This is a very useful feature if you want to simulate your automated activity as being genuinely human and avoid getting banned from LinkedIn or other supported social media platforms.
Meet Alfred Integrations
Meet Alfred natively supports these platforms:
- X
Along with the native integrations, Meet Alfred has various webhook integrations and an extensive number of integrations on Zapier.
There is a wide number of Zapier templates for Meet Alfred, from integrating with your favorite CRM and Google Sheets to Google Ads integration.
Pricing
As we finish breaking down its features in our Meet Alfred review, let’s check out its pricing plans:
Meet Alfred has three pricing plans:
- Individual ($59/month): 3 active campaigns, LinkedIn automation and campaign features, basic CRM, and templates.
- Business ($99/month): all Individual plan features, unlimited active campaigns, Sales Navigator support, multi-channel automation, 3rd party integrations, and social media scheduling.
- Agency ($79/month): all Business plan features, lots of features for team management, and team data exports.
If you opt for a quarterly purchase, the monthly costs are 20% lower, and 40% lower if you buy on an annual basis.
Keep in mind that for the Agency plan, it is required to have 10 seats, so that is $799/month. We confirmed that with their support, so they could phrase the pricing better!
The thing we like about Meet Alfred is that it comes with a 14-day free trial, with no credit card requirement. That is a week longer than most other competitive tools, giving you hefty time to test out all the features of Meet Alfred.
Another cool thing is the Refer & Save feature. With it, you can theoretically get a free monthly subscription if you refer enough users to Meet Alfred.
Our take on the pricing:
We feel that Meet Alfred is priced a bit steep when you consider how simple it is. Most of the competitors offer similar pricing but offer more robust campaign sequences and better CRM.
The saving grace of Meet Alfred is the number of campaigns you get with the basic plan and the well-realized multi-campaign feature. It also supports more platforms than just LinkedIn – so if you find yourself in that camp, Meet Alfred might be worth the subscription. If you only plan on doing LinkedIn lead generation, there are better LinkedIn automation tools around.
Customer Support
For our Meet Alfred review, we asked their customer support if it is possible to do Multi-channel campaigns in the free trial:
First, we got a response from a chatbot that didn’t quite understand our question.
Luckily, we got an answer within 2 minutes and even an explainer video on how to do multi-channel campaigns. As we said to Keith – their customer service seems to be very helpful and quick!
Even before running into a wall – you can address Meet Alfred’s comprehensive Help Center to find answers.
The users have similar sentiments for Meet Alfred’s customer service, with one salty review sticking out:
Apparently, their customer support is top-notch, but technical support can be delayed.
External Reviews
Here are some customer reviews for Meet Alfred from Capterra and TrustPilot:
People mostly like these things about Meet Alfred:
- Compatible with different marketing channels other than LinkedIn
- Helpful customer support
- The time it saves for other important tasks
On the other hand, people don’t like these things about Meet Alfred:
- No 2FA support which might make the tool obsolete for some users
- Bugs that can affect the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
Meet Alfred Alternatives
As we slowly wrap up our Meet Alfred review, let’s see how it compares to other LinkedIn automation tools:
Meet Alfred vs. Dripify
Dripify allows you to do only LinkedIn and email campaigns, without the possibility of multi-channel campaigns. Still, it has many more available actions to add to campaigns, making it a more flexible tool. For unlimited campaigns, you need to invest $79/month, as compared to $99/month for Meet Alfred.
Read our Dripify review here!
Meet Alfred vs. Expandi.io
Expandi.io has multi-channel campaigns, so that makes it equal to Meet Alfred on those terms. It is more expensive, as it starts from $99/month for 10 campaigns. Still, it has more robust capabilities than Meet Alfred, such as behavioral targeting, which might be more useful for power users.
Meet Alfred vs. Dux-Soup
Although Dux-Soup starts much cheaper than Meet Alfred, starting from $41/month, it doesn’t offer multi-channel campaigns, built-in inbox, and scraping capabilities.
Meet Alfred: Things We Like
As we are wrapping up our Meet Alfred review, we find it important to sum up the things we liked:
Easy to Use: Meet Alfred is pretty straightforward to use, and doesn’t have a steep learning curve.
Multi-Channel Campaigns: Being able to combine LinkedIn campaigns with email campaigns or other social media campaigns is awesome.
Unified Inbox: Meet Alfred makes it easy to manage your LinkedIn conversations.
Post Creation Tools: Meet Alfred allows you to create and schedule posts, and find post inspiration.
Meet Alfred: Things We Don’t Like
Of course, our Meet Alfred review wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t mention the things we didn’t like too much:
Small Number of Campaign Actions: There is only a small number of scenarios you can have in Meet Alfred campaigns.
Lack of Generative AI Features: Generative AI could help with ideating messages, emails, and posts.
No Pre-Built Templates: Although Meet Alfred is pretty simple, some pre-built templates would be useful for beginners.
CRM is Too Simplistic: Holistic data is solid, but deeper data is non-existent.
Is Meet Alfred Worth It In 2024?
Now that we’ve come to the end of our Meet Alfred review – is it worth the subscription?
No doubt, Meet Alfred is a good LinkedIn automation tool – especially if you avoid solutions with a steep learning curve. Also, if you aim to automate lead generation through multiple channels simultaneously, Meet Alfred is a good choice.
Its simplicity does it lots of harm though – especially when it comes to the possible actions you can perform in automated campaigns and the lack of nuances of its CRM.
All in all, we would recommend Meet Alfred for users not willing to invest too much time into learning how to automate lead generation but looking for a relatively efficient solution.
